AND CLEARLY THE WINNER IS GENESIS
SEGA DOES WHAT NINTENDON'T
COME AT ME BROS
No but seriously it's neck and neck for me, I grew up with the Genesis but I also loved my neighbor's SNES with Marios/Zelda/Metroid/DKC and whatnot

We had BLAST PROCESSING! And also were first to 16 bit.

That's a tough choice as I had a SNES at home but my Grandma had the Sega but eventually, we got a Genesis. Honestly though, I'm 50:50 as both systems had games I enjoyed as a kid. If I had to do it all again, I would still say both.

I will say that *usually* the SNES got better ports of games, as I believe the color spectrum was greater/deeper than the Genesis? So SNES games always loooked more 'arcade-perfect' to me, until you got into Mortal Kombat ports, where they'd censor out half of the blood ahaha

Had both but I was a SNES boy. But funny enough I didn't have the same attachment to the core Nintendo franchises as I did with the PS1. The rpgs & the SNES version of Street Fighter II is what won it out for me.

Oh man, I was always so jealous of my neighbor, as the Street Fighter II SNES port was pretty much perfect, while the Genesis version was squishy and the colors were off But he was jealous of me, because my Genesis version of Ultimate MK3 was WAY better than the SNES one It's so weird how much of a variance those games had on each system

PS1 was definitely better than SNES. Only SF games I played was Alpha but I was still pretty much into the culture of the game. Even the life action movies to the animated ones, it was pretty awesome to be able to sit down and watch.

Once the blood code was revealed for the snes version of MKII it was all over. Right like Aladdin for both systems or Saturday Night Slam Masters had a different mode for each version.

It was slime and I prefer MK for Genesis Like I said MK II had the blood code for SNES. Never looked back. This reminds me of those 'Cheat Codes' books you'd find for each system at grocery stores and third-rate game shops EVERY SINGLE ONE had EXACTLY the same stuff in it, but I'd buy four or five a year anyway
